Neferturm is the Ancient Egyptian god of healing and Areej, often depicted with a Lotus flower on his head. The lotus flower symbolized ‘Rebirth’ due to the fact that it shrinks during the night and blooms when the sun shines. The Flower was also used as a symbol for the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt.
