L'orange de Valence est une grande variété d'orange avec une surface lisse et caillouteuse et une peau parfumée semi-épaisse qui adhère librement à sa chair segmentée et à peine ensemencée. Sa chair, à maturité, est suprêmement douce, juteuse et tendre. Bien que l'utilisation principale des oranges de Valence soit pour le jus, elles sont également utilisées pour la consommation fraîche

Les oranges sanguines sont des oranges petites à moyennes dont les formes vont de parfaitement rondes à plus oblongues.
